Amanda Sullivan (MCSP, BSc Hons), is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a full member of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy. She has been specialising in Pelvic Health since 1999, working in the NHS until leaving to focus exclusively on her private practice in 2020. When she is not working, she likes to escape for a walk; preferably either up a hill or around a coastal path!

Amanda has undertaken a two-year postgraduate course in continence care, earning her postgraduate certificate in 2007. Since this time she has built up a wealth of experience in treating both female and male patients with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor weakness and post prostatectomy urinary incontinence. Amanda has also completed a course with Maeve Whelan in 2014 and specialises in pelvic floor manual therapy for Chronic Pelvic Pain. In 2025 Amanda completed a 6-month mentorship programme leading to membership status of The Pelvic Pain Network

Amanda also treats men with a variety of pelvic health issues such as urinary incontinence, urgency, frequency, slow flow, erectile dysfunction, bowel issues (such as constipation and incontinence), Chronic Pelvic Pain (pain in and around the testicles, penis, pelvis and abdomen), plus prostate cancer before and after prostatectomy surgery.
Amanda not only has extensive knowledge of the changes that occur during both pregnancy and the postnatal period but also the professional expertise and skills of how to reduce the physical and emotional stresses of pregnancy and labour. She has a vast experience of treating patients with pelvic pain in pregnancy and has taught antenatal classes for 26 years.

Pelvic health is my passion and I love nothing more than to work in a close partnership with my clients, seeing their symptoms resolve, achieving their goals, and getting their life back on track.
